超音波液位计的材质


我们买的是mobery的产品
Materials of construction:
Transducer material：PVDF
Body & cover Material：Glass filled nylon
Cable gland：Nylon with Nitrile cable seal
Cover seal：Silicone rubber
Cover screws：316 Stainless Steel
Transducer bodyseal：EPDM
Connection 4”RF

但业主comment :

All body material for transmitters shall be of stainless steel

下面是我回的
:

Transmitter material shall follow vendor design for the correctness of measurement since stainless steel will reflect microwaves in this case.

之后业主又comment回来
Regarding clarification for the comment on vendor document for ultrasonic level transmitter specification. After reviewing, We insist that all body material for transmitters and casing material shall be stainless steel.

我有问过vendor , 得到的回答是
, 用stainless的话会使反射回来的波再次被反射回去
, 要量测的液位会测不太准
, vendor也荐意连接的flange也不要用全属材质的 (这样的回答正确吗
?)

使用stainless会造成什么影响

还是按业主的要求办,这要看罐内物料及温度,对于供应商,他们很可能是怕麻烦.
